Ahmad Al Falasi Foundation for Humanitarian Initiatives

Ahmad Al Falasi is an Emirati businessman and philanthropist who was moved to act after seeing poor quality healthcare facilities while visiting Kenya. Inspired by his mother, who gave generously to charity, he has refurbished a hospital and built a kidney dialysis centre and neonatal unit in Kenya. He also contributed to the construction of wells, clinics, houses, schools, and orphanages in Kenya, Zanzibar, and China and supported other regional humanitarian appeals. Al Falasi was named the 2020 Arab Hope Maker, an award of Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
