Programmes

• Culture and Society

  The foundation supports different projects that use performing arts and promote appreciation through creative education and performances for social development and cross-cultural understanding. Projects focus on theatre, drama, creative expression and performance, folk and contemporary dance as well as cultural exchange, are hosted under the National Center for Culture and Arts, while programmes around that promote music education and appreciation are housed under the National Music Conservatory.
• Education

  Created by Queen Noor, the Jubilee School opened in 1993, and later, the Jubilee Institute was launched to encompass both the Jubilee School and the Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education (JCEE). The Jubilee School develops the academic potential of outstanding scholarship students from Jordan and the region to help create socially responsible and critically-thinking future leaders who are able to address both global and local challenges. The Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education focuses on technology, promoting STEAM programmes around digital and information technology skills. The education programme also supports refugee education by offering scholarships in collaboration with the DAFI-Albert Eintstein German Academic Refugee Initiative Fund.
• Family Healthcare

  This programme offers both Jordanians and refugees in Jordan physical, mental and psychosocial healthcare, child protection services, and capacity building for healthcare practitioners. The work is mainly conducted through the Institute for Family Health, which was launched in 1986 by the Noor Al Hussein Foundation with support from Sweden's Radda Barnen.
• Research and Advocacy

  Hosted under the Information and Research Center at the foundation, this programme focuses on participatory research, evidence-based advocacy, and knowledge-sharing with practitioners, policymakers and civil society to foster inclusive socio-economic development.
• Socio-economic empowerment

  The foundation offers entrepreneurship and institutional development training, grants, and access to work opportunities to Jordanians and low-income refugees, as well as civil society organisations. Projects are run and operated through three different institutions: the Community Development Institute focuses on job creation, building institutional and entrepreneurial capacities of individuals and community-based organisations, accessing seed money, and improving community infrastructure; Tamweelcom (Jordan Microfinance Company), provides micro-financial services, loans, financial literacy awareness, digital services as well as non-financial services to empower entrepreneurs and low-income earners and enhance financial inclusion; and Ethmar for Islamic Microfinance, offers innovative sharia-compliant financial solutions aiming to promote entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment of low-income individuals as well.
