Creating alternative pathways
Network for Empowered Aid Response (NEAR) is a movement of Local and National Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from the Global South promoting fair, equitable and dignified partnerships in the current aid system.
This webinar, hosted by NEAR, will unpack and explore emerging findings from a NEAR research study examining how locally-led actors are navigating today’s aid realities – both within the dominant international system and beyond it.
The conversation will reflect on:
- How local and national organisations are adapting to political, financial, and civic space pressures
- What local leadership loks like in practice across different contexts
- Where current localisation efforts are falling short, and where alternative pathways are beginning to emerge
