Taawon’s NOOR Orphan Care Program
Taawon (Welfare Association) is a leading Palestinian non-profit organisation established in 1983. Dedicated to supporting vulnerable Palestinians to live in dignity, Taawon partners with local communities to address urgent needs while creating sustainable opportunities for the future.
Its programmes span education, culture, community development, and humanitarian assistance, reaching nearly one million Palestinians each year across the West Bank, Gaza, refugee camps in Lebanon, and marginalised communities.
One of its flagship initiatives is the NOOR Orphan Care Program, which over the last 18 years has been a providing holistic care for more than 20,000 orphaned children in Gaza.
