Strategic philanthropy for climate change

Workshop and panel discussion

As Dubai prepares to host COP28 in December, join the Pearl Initiative and NYUAD's Strategic Philanthropy Initiative (SPI) for a high-level panel discussion about the role for strategic philanthropy in tackling climate change and its deleterious effects.

Regional experts and thought leaders will share a stage with seasoned philanthropists to discuss regional giving trends in the climate space, and provide tangible insights about how to strategically support climate mitigation. The panel discussion will be moderated by Antonios Vouloudis, Director of Sustainability and Stewardship at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Following the plenary discussion, there will be breakaway small-group workshop sessions facilitated by experts on more technical, industry-specific topics.
