Moving from intent to practice
It's an age-old problem. A loan helps a social enterprise grow, but the market around it remains hostile to organisations like it. A grant funds an excellent programme, but the system that produced the need in the first place stays firmly in place.
The field of impact investing is increasingly recognising that systems change requires more than individual transactions or isolated metrics.
But how can investors practically integrate systems thinking into strategy, capital deployment, and impact measurement?
This session, hosted by Alliance, will explore real-world approaches to systems thinking in the intersection between philanthropy and impact investing, and showcase how several practitioners and funders from different contexts apply tools, insights, and lessons in their work.
