King Hussein Cancer Foundation
The King Hussein Cancer Foundation is Jordan’s largest community-based organisation dedicated to the fight against cancer. Established in 2001 by Royal Decree, the foundation focuses on fundraising, advocacy, public awareness, and patient support. It administers the Cancer Care Insurance, a scheme offering affordable treatment coverage at the King Hussein Cancer Center. The foundation also supports underprivileged patients through Goodwill and Zakat funds and leads national efforts in cancer prevention and early detection.

Programmes
Awareness Raising Programme
The foundation leads Jordanian efforts in raising awareness on the importance of early detection and cancer prevention.
Cancer Care Insurance Programme
This programme provides members who are diagnosed with cancer with guaranteed treatment coverage at the King Hussein Cancer Center at a moderate annual subscription fee.
Fundraising and Development Programme
Through this programme, the foundation aims to raise donations locally, regionally and internationally. The foundation also provides financial and psychological support to underprivileged patients admitted to the King Hussein Cancer Center.
