Man Ahyaha is a non-profit organisation founded in 2007, dedicated to making education accessible to children in marginalized rural communities in Egypt. With a mission to blend advanced learning philosophies with local culture and heritage, Man Ahyaha aims to cultivate a unique sense of identity and character in children, while fostering a strong sense of community and altruism. By leveraging the inherent knowledge within each local culture, the organization empowers children to utilize community resources to tackle prominent challenges. Additionally, Man Ahyaha’s schools serve as community hubs, offering a variety of educational and developmental services to enhance the overall well-being of the local population.

  • Academy of Educators

    Man Ahyaha belives that teachers are at the centre of any learning process, and they recruit exclusivley from communities that the organization operates. Teachers are provided a long educational journey to equip them with knowledge and skills needed to exceute 'first-class' educational epereinces to the students. 

    The Academy of Educators provides a sector of services that include:

    Diploma in basics of community school management - includes two tracks, one for private school mamangement and the other for non-formal and community schools. This program covers all required school management skills, while accounting for specific nature, limitied resources, and cultural context.

    Diploma in live training for school leadership - This program is reffered to as the 'coaching; siploma and works with schools teachers to equip them with technical knowledge and coaching skills. 

    Diploma in learning from a new perspective - This program is taught over a 3 year period and delves into educational theories and philosophies, child learning and development, communication skills and stratagies as well as classroom management to support different individual learning styles. 

    My health in my school - This program aims to make teachers aware of the health challenges faced by school children. Necessary skills are taught to help plan and implement a healgth program and improve the general health environment.

    Diploma in mental heal for teachers - This program is designed for teachers to take a journey into self-reflection and self-development. Management tools are used to move forward within their social and psychological well-being.

    Subject teacher qualification Diploma - This program offers pedagogical training in areas such as langeuage, mathematics, science, the arts, and physical education. 

  • Adults Academy

    The program targets individuals between 16 and 60 years old from the three billigaes in Al-Ayat: Bahbit, Al-Baharwa, and Matania, all of which who have not had the opportunity to learn before.

    Basic Program Objectives

    • Training educated youth on the Reflect methodology to raise youth capable of finding different social solutions and interventions
    • Ending illiteracy in the three targeted villiges
    • Creating a safe communication and learning environment in which learners can share their opinions about society and re-evaluate its unhealthy habits 
  • Community Schools

    The schools are governement certified and they serve children between the ages of 6 and 14 years old, delivering primary level education.
