Resilio Fund

Launched by Legatum in 2025, the Resilio Fund is a collaborative philanthropic initiative which aims to reshape humanitarian funding. Resilio Fund is co-funded by UBS Optimus, Vitol, and Irene M Staehelin foundations. It allocates micro-grants to frontline organisations working in humanitarian settings to cut out iNGOs and help grassroots actors build resilience and capacity. Resilio builds on successful pilot projects in countries like Myanmar, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, and the Philippines, and seeks to demonstrate the power of localised, community-led response.
