Impact Lebanon
Impact Lebanon is a UK-registered nonprofit formed in 2019 by members of the Lebanese diaspora, following prolonged anti-government protests in the country. Its mission was to promote community activism and support creatives and entrepreneurs within Lebanon, at a time of both political and financial instability. In 2020, it raised more than $6m to support grassroots NGOs and social enterprises repairing Beirut after the port blast and in 2022, it launched an endowment fund to pay for university scholarships for low-income Lebanese students.

Initiatives that aim to support partner NGOs in Lebanon through volunteers lending their expertise as needed. An example of this is the Environment Academy. Impact Lebanon has also launched a few crowdfunding efforts to assist NGOs in Lebanon with their provision of humanitarian support.The Impact Lebanon Foundation Scholarship Fund
New for 2022, this is a crowd-funded endowment to pay for scholarships for Lebanese student to pursue courses at the American University of Beirut, Université Saint-Joseph, and the Lebanese American University. Through a mix of regular small donations and larger HNWI gifts, Impact Lebanon is looking to fund at least 150 scholarships per year.
